PSNH Electric Line Upgrade Impacts Sandown

Electric utility provider Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) is preparing to upgrade an existing 19-mile, 115 kilovolt electric transmission line passing through seven southern New Hampshire towns, including Sandown.

According to PSNH, crews will begin laying timber mats to prepare for the start of construction scheduled in October.

It is anticipated that the line uprgrade, within a right-of-way corridor passing through Chester, Sandown, Danville, Fremont, Brentwood, Exeter and Stratham, will be completed by the spring of 2015.
