Haverhill Police continued warrant sweeps Thursday as at least three people, including a 16-year-old juvenile, were taken into custody to face various criminal charges.
Police report the male teen is facing charges of breaking and entering and assault charges. He was taken into custody shortly after 6:30 p.m, Thursday, on Harrison Street. Other warrant arrests were made on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Also, police in Haverhill arrested two men Thursday evening in a crackdown on quality-of-life offenses in the Acre section near downtown. Haverhill Police report 50-year-old Luis Ledesma of Haverhill was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at 64 Franklin on a charge of drinking in public. Shortly before 11 p.m., police arrested 21-year-old Jesus Rosado of Haverhill on a charge of sexual conduct for a fee. Both men are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
