Robert Guckert Jr., 54, of Haverhill, passed away at his home, Sunday, Sept. 21 following a brief illness.
He was born in Haverhill January 22, 1960 the son of Robert Sr. and Nancy (Mascaro) Guckert. Guckert was educated in the Haverhill school system and attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School. He was very fond of animals and was known to feed and care for the neighborhood cats. He was always in attendance at the local Native American Pow-Wows here in Haverhill and will be greatly missed by friends and relatives, especially by his favorite niece ‘Nat-Nat’ whom he loved dearly.
Guckert was predeceased by his father Robert and a brother, Thomas Guckert. He is survived by his mother Nancy Guckert of Haverhill, two sisters, Nancy and her husband George Brown of Haverhill and Deborah and her husband John Barry of Feastville, Penn., a brother, James Guckert of Haverhill, aunts and uncles, Peggy and Joe Roberts, Ray and Angel Whittier, Thomas Mascaro and Ted and Peggy Guckert as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours Thursday, Sept. 25, from 4pm to 7pm at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill, MA 01830. His funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7:15 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Haverhill at the convenience of his family.
