Harold Pini, Sr., 87

Harold Pini, Sr., 87, of Groveland, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 17, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law.

He was born in Everett, March 8, 1927, son of the late Vittorio and Julia (Perotti) Pini and was educated in the Everett school system. During World War II he served with the United States Coast Guard attaining the rank of Fireman Second Class. For more than 35 years he was employed as a cryogenic installer for Liquid Air. Mr. Pini enjoyed following local sports teams.

He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Feeney) Pini who died in 2012 and his survivors include a son, Harold Pini Jr. and his wife Sharon of Groveland, a daughter, Donna Corrigan and her husband John of Bradford, four grandchildren, Meredith and her husband Greg McHugh, Alison Pini, John Corrigan, Jr., Jaime Corrigan and great grandfather to Brooke and Morgan McHugh.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. His Funeral will be Monday morning, Sept. 22 beginning at 10 from the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
