N.H. Begins Drawdown at Sandown’s Angle Pond

New Hampshire environmental officials are preparing for their annual fall drawdown of lakes and ponds controlled by state-owned dams across the Granite State, including one in the town of Sandown.

According to the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Angle Pond in Sandown will be drawn down by two feet from its “full” point, beginning on October 13. The local pond is the source of Bartlett Brook, also in Sandown.
