A Haverhill woman is due to be arraigned in court on drunk driving charges following her arrest Sunday. Haverhill Police report 47-year-old Michele M. Tavano of Haverhill was arrested during a traffic stop shortly before 5 p.m., Sunday, at 931 Boston Road. She is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, open container violation and a marked lanes violation.

A traffic stop by Haverhill Police Friday night led to the arrest of a Groveland man on charges, including driving without a license. Haverhill Police report 23-year-old Daniel C. Schacht of Groveland was also charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, brass knuckles, and also charged with a noise ordinance violation. The arrest occurred shortly after 9 p.m., Friday, on Mill Street at Ginty Boulevard.
A Haverhill man faces drug possession charges following his arrest by Haverhill Police on Friday. Police report 24-year-old Cartagena Erily of Haverhill was charged with possession of class B and Class E substances. The arrest occurred shortly before noon, Friday, at Beacon and Central Streets. An investigation is ongoing.
A juvenile from Methuen is accused of vandalizing a motor vehicle in Haverhill on Friday. Haverhill Police report the 17-year-old female suspect, who was arrested late Friday morning at 415 Primrose Street, is charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle. No further details are available.
