Police in Methuen giving credit to Facebook followers in catching a suspect wanted in a theft from a local business.
According to a Methuen Police spokesperson, John Domenici of Methuen is charged with larceny over $250 after he confessed to detectives of stealing three large ceramic planters during a recent theft from Deluca Fence in Methuen.
Earlier this week, Methuen police posted a surveillance video on its Facebook page showing a male suspect with a large distinctive tattoo on his back. Police said with video shares in hand and two anonymous tips, Methuen Police detectives went to Domenici’s home Wednesday night, where he confessed to the theft.
