Democratic Breakfast Sat. Honors Ross and Rajczyk

Haverhill residents Gloria Ross and M. Eva Rajczyk will be honored as “Distinguished Democrats” during the Haverhill Democratic City Committee’s annual breakfast this Saturday.

The committee previously decided to name outgoing Governor Deval Patrick as Democrat of the Year. Ross and Rajczyk are being honored for their contributions to the committee, said William D. Cox Jr., chairman.

Cox also said confirmed attendees for the event include State Treasurer Steve Grossman, candidate for governor; Lelund Cheung, Steve Kerrigan and Mike Lake, candidates for lieutenant governor; Deb Goldberg, candidate for state treasurer; Eileen Duff, Candidate for re-election to the Governor’s Council; and all candidates for state senate and state representative.

The breakfast takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Sat., Sept. 6, at the Galleria Banquet Room of Maria’s Restaurant, 85 Essex Street.
