Police Tackle Two Cases of Assault with Intent to Murder

Two men from Haverhill face drug-related and various other charges in connection with a police investigation.

Haverhill Police report 21-year-old Jahlil Singleton and 20-year-old Adam Bergeron, both of Haverhill, were arrested shortly after 7 p.m., Thursday, at 3 Central Street. Singleton is charged with assault with intent to murder, possession of a class E drug, and armed robbery. Bergeron is charged with possession of a class E drug, obstructing a police investigation, and with being an accessory after a fact.

In other police news, an armed robbery suspect is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court following his arrest Thursday evening at a neighbor’s residence. Haverhill Police report 21-year-old Tyler Freeman of Haverhill was also charged with assault with intent to murder. The arrest occurred at 6 p.m., Thursday, at 24 Lewis Street. An investigation is ongoing.
