Leslie J. (Bond) Langlois, 61, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.
She was born on January 26, 1953 in Amarillo, TX. Loving daughter of William Jr., and Dorothy (Sheffy) Bond. Raised in Dallas, TX, Leslie was educated in the School for the Blind in Austin, TX. After moving to MA, she completed her studies at the University of Lowell, graduating in 1982 with a degree in psychology. She continued her education receiving her Masters Degree in social work from Boston University in 1989. Leslie has worked from several years with Work, Inc. as a case manager.
Loving wife of 37 years to Brian Langlois of Haverhill.
Her activities included swimming and was musically gifted. She was the co-founder of the Inspirational Singers who performed for citizens and at community events throughout the Merrimack Valley. A special memory is a vacation that Leslie and Brian shared together in St. Maarten.
Her surviving family members in addition to her husband and parents is her niece Roxanne Stone; great-nephews Cannen and Aiden Stone; brother in-laws Paul Langlois and wife Paula of Hampstead, N.H. and Wallace Langlois, Jr. of NY; several cousins; close friends and Personal Care Assistants Tina Roux, Caitlin Roux, Tatiana Francis and Jackie Allende; sister of the late Vikki Greene.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday afternoon, August 30, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford from 1 to 4: p.m.. Courtesy local transportation will be provided on request by calling Patrick Driscoll at (978) 374-0000.
