Haverhill Public Library will sponsor an exhibit by students at Northern Essex Community College’s class – Art and Literature of the Graphic Novel – throughout September.
The exhibit will be on display from Sept. 2 through 30 on the second floor during regular library hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The public is invited to attend a reception with the students/artists and their instructors Thursday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 7p.m. in the Johnson Auditorium. Join professors and students from NECC as they show you their techniques for creating original graphic novels. Visitors m peruse student created artwork, learn more about the inspiration and process.
