A Lawrence man accused of drunk driving is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court after his arrest overnight. Haverhill Police report 25-year-old John M. Delahoz of Lawrence was also charged with malicious destruction of property. He was taken into custody at 1:12 a.m., today, at 127 South Elm Street.
An investigation by Haverhill Police early Sunday morning led to the arrest of a local man on motor vehicle and assault charges. Police report 36-year-old Justin P. Walsh of Haverhill was charged with use of a motor vehicle without authority, operating a motor vehicle after license revocation, assault with a dangerous weapon and intimidating a witness. The arrest occurred at 4 a.m., Sunday, on Lafayette Street. He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
Also in police news, a man, listed by Haverhill Police as homeless, is due to face a larceny charge in Haverhill District Court. Police report 23-year-old Ryan Johnson was taken into custody on outstanding warrants Friday evening at 193 Main Street. Charges include larceny over $250. No further details were available.
