Barbara K. (Kimball) Haselton, 95, a former longtime resident of Andover and North Andover and recently of Edgewood Avenue in Haverhill, died on August 9, 2014 at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center, Haverhill.
Born in Somerville and raised and educated in North Reading, daughter of the late Harry N. and Helen M. (Dawson) Kimball, she attended La Salle College. A housewife and homemaker to her husband and children for many years, Mrs. Haselton enjoyed dining out with friends and family. In her later years, she worked as a sales associate at Sutherlands in Lawrence and as Administrative Assistant at Heritage Green Apartments in North Andover for several years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar C. Haselton, her son, Peter Haselton, and her granddaughter, Kim Haselton, and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Whitman C. and Suzanne Haselton of Andover, MA, a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Alan Smith of Haverhill, two sisters, Elizabeth Deering of Colorado and Edith Hitchcock of North Carolina, three grandchildren, Aaron Haselton, Meredith Carver, and Amanda Grzesik, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, MA. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.
