Frank T. Augustonovich, 70

CONWAY, N.H. – Frank T. Augustonovich, 70, of Conway, NH, formerly of Haverhill, passed away suddenly on August 6, 2014 in North Conway.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Joseph J. Augustonovich and Lillian (Baker). Raised and educated in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill High School. A Vietnam Veteran, he enlisted into the Marine Corps and proudly served from 1961 until being honorably discharged in 1963.

Mr. Augustonovich had a long and varied career, known to be a “Jack of all trades” mostly working in the manufacturing field, he was employed as a truck driver for Hostess, and a ran a saw in a truss manufacturing plant, until his retirement a few years ago. A lover of country music, he played guitar in local bands, including “Frankie and the Freightliners”, and “Barb, Ed, and the Goodtimes”. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.

He leaves his fiancé, Bernadette Raff, of Conway, N.H., sons, Michael and his wife, Amy Augustonovich, of Haverhill, Gerald and Kathy Augustonovich, of Epping, Bruce and Lisa Augustonovich, of Merrimac, Daniel and Shannon Augustonovich, of FL, and David Augustonovich, of Bradford, a daughter, Laurie Noyes, of Haverhill, a brother, John Augustonovich, of Haverhill, two sisters, Louise Ross, and Jean Diamontopolous and her husband, Michael, also of Haverhill, sixteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Rose Newman and Pauline Augustonovich.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 12:00 Noon following the period of visitation. Burial is private.
