Howard A. “Buddy” Boyle, 96

Howard A. “Buddy” Boyle, 96, of Chestnut Hill and formerly of Haverhill, died suddenly at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, New London, CT, on August 4.

He was born in Lawrence, July 28, 1918, son of the late Melvin and Frances (Alman) Boyle, and was an Army Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his significant other, Betty Wolfe of Chestnut Hill, children, Pam Kaplan of Chelmsford, Paul J. Boyle and his wife Carol of Weston, FL, Larry Wolfe and his wife Carol of Scarsdale, NY, Bruce Wolfe and his wife Elizabeth of Chappaqua, NY, a sister, Pauline Rabkin of No. Andover, 10 grandchildren, Amy, Abby, Annie, Eric and his wife Sarah, Tammy, Connor, Sarah, Jeremy, Caroline and Samantha, six great grandchildren, Haley, Delaney, Aidan, Kaleigh, Seva and Lekha. A Memorial Observance will be held on Thursday following the interment until 7:00 and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Community Room of his late residence. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday morning, August 7, at 10:30 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Children of Israel Cemetery, Haverhill.
