Haverhill Police are reminding local families they’re invited to participate in their annual National Night Out activities Tuesday evening at Swasey’s field off Blaisdell Street from 5 p,m. to 8 p.m.
Communities across the nation come together to mark the annual crime and drug prevention event through community awareness, and to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. National Night Out Activities for children include Clowns, Face painting, Balloon Creations, Various Blow-up activities, and free food.
Similar National Night Out activities also taking place in other area communities this evening, such as a series of block parties beginning at 5:30 p.m. within the Arlington district in Methuen and Lawrence.
