Workers and supervisors from the Haverhill Water Division remained on scene late this morning as work continued to repair an overnight water main break just outside the downtown area.
Haverhill Police tell WHAV the water main rupture at the intersection of White and Winter Streets was reported at about 1 a.m. It remains unknown how many downtown residents were affected, or when full water service will be restored to the area. WHAV made several attempts to reach a Haverhill Water Division spokesperson, but none were available for further comment.
