Margaret G. (Chabot) Robinson, 96

Margaret G. (Chabot) Robinson, 96, of Bradford passed away Wednesday, July 30, at Penacook place, Haverhill.

She was born in Newburyport, March 21, 1918 the daughter of the late Robert E. and Lucy (Cates) Chabot. Mrs. Robinson graduated from Haverhill High School with the class of 1935 and was employed as a clerk at the former Cherry and Webb. Margaret was very artistic and enjoyed drawing with and for her grandchildren and baking and decorating cakes for all family events including weddings. She was very active in the Peoples United Methodist Church as a member of the Couples Club, the United Methodist Women’s Club, and served her community as a Den Mother, volunteer for the Girl Scouts, and was a past member of the Bradford Grange. She enjoyed cooking for her family, animals and time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Robinson was predeceased by her loving husband George William Robinson Jr. who passed away in 1994 and her brother William Chabot. She is survived by her children; Dale B. and his wife Debra A. Robinson of Windham, NH, and Gary W. and his wife Natalie H. Robinson of Haverhill, a brother, Robert E. Chabot of Middleton, NH, a sister, Evelyn B. Cookson of Sherborn, MA, three grandchildren; Adam Robinson and his companion Andrea, Brett and his wife Carolyn Robinson and Emma Beth Robinson and her companion Keith, three step grandchildren, David and his wife Nancy Martel, Michelle Phelan and Glenn and his wife Andrea Fogarty, 8 step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Robinson’s family would like to thank the staff at Penacook Place and Merrimack Valley Hospice for their loving care and support.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service Monday, Aug. 4 at 1:15 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Rt. 125) Bradford. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Calling hours will precede the funeral service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bradford funeral home.
