Young Market Basket Protester Struck at Seabrook Store

A young protester was seriously injured this afternoon after being struck by a motor vehicle on the curb outside the Seabrook, N.H. Market Basket store.

Seabrook Police Prosecutor Scott Mendes told WHAV the person is a minor and was brought to an area hospital. He said the matter is “actively under investigation.”

An initial report indicted a young girl was sitting in chair on the curb outside Market Basket at 380 Lafayette Road, Seabrook, when she was struck by a vehicle. Kayla O’Neill described the incident on Facebook.

“On ambulance now, she’s conscious but badly hurt! Granddaughter to one of our cashiers, please everyone continue to pray and be safe out there this is horrific.”
