Methuen Rotary Project Forces I-93 Lane Changes

I-93

Commuters traveling on Interstate 93 in Methuen are facing some restrictions as a result of the ongoing Routes 110 and 113 rotary reconstruction project.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced breakdown lane travel during the morning and afternoon commutes is now prohibited between exit 46 – Route 110/113 and exit 47, Pelham Street, Methuen. MassDOT also says future lane shifts will be required to complete the project.

The Methuen Rotary Reconstruction Project will replace the existing rotary at exit 46 with a partial cloverleaf interchange. It will also build or realign four I-93 on- and off-ramps, realign the routes 110 and 113 intersection, and bring new signalized intersections.
