A Haverhill man faces burglary charges following his arrest Wednesday afternoon in the Riverside section. Haverhill Police report 32-year-old Joseph Beaver of Haverhill was taken into custody shortly before 1 p.m., Wednesday at 72 Coffin Avenue. He is charged with breaking and entering a building and larceny. An investigation is ongoing.
In other police reports, a Lawrence man was charged by Haverhill police in connection with an alleged hit and run crash Wednesday morning involving a stolen motor vehicle. Haverhill Police report Jeffrey D. Cruz, 20, of Lawrence was arrested at 6:16 a.m., Wednesday at the corner of Neck Road and Shelly Road. He is charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage over $250.
