A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on drug and larceny charges.
Haverhill Police report 32-year-old Ruston P. Rrothro of Haverhill was arrested shortly after 6 p.m., Wednesday, at 119 Carleton Street. He is charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.
He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for two counts of felony breaking and entering in the daytime and two counts of larceny from a building.

Two Haverhill men are facing police charges in connection with separate arrests made Wednesday night in patrols on Vine Street near the downtown. Haverhill Police report Nicholas Giroux, 21, of Haverhill was arrested at 10 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon. An hour later, Troy Betts, 33, of Haverhill was arrested and charged with drinking in public. No further details were available.
