David Michael Dufresne, 64, of Haverhill, sadly passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday June 24, 2014.
Born in Newburyport, May 30, 1950, he was the only son of the late Eleanor Dufresne. Raised in Amesbury, he attended Amesbury public schools.
Dave was a kind hearted, caring man. He enjoyed family gatherings, and visiting with the kids, and his little buddy, Liam Doty. An avid Patriots fan, he never missed a game. Dave loved all animals, especially his cats and dog.
He leaves his beloved fiancé of ten years, Ann Faucher and her family, of Haverhill, cousins, Arlene (Bartley) Cook, and Shirley (Bartley) Palermo, of Amesbury, Jay, Brian, and Carla Palermo, and Cheryl (Cook) Cote, also of Amesbury, Steven Cook, of East Hampstead, NH, and his good friend Mark, of Haverhill. He was predeceased by his friend, John A. Migliori, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Monday morning at 11:00 AM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte.125) Haverhill. A period of visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 until 11:00 AM. Burial is private. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. James Parish, 6 Cottage St. Haverhill, MA 01830.
