Summer marks the return of a community institution in downtown Haverhill beginning this Saturday.
The Haverhill Farmers Market returns to provide access to farm-fresh products and promote local agriculture, as well serve as a social gathering place. The family-friendly market also includes food demonstrations, local music and children’s activities.
The local arts group Creative Haverhill will also have a tent as space for Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce members offering goods and services suited to the Farmers Market. The outdoor market will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturdays through October 25 next to the Haverhill Police headquarters on Bailey Boulevard.
