Arthur Hale Veasey III was born and raised in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He was educated at Haverhill High School and later at Governor Dummer Academy in nearby Byfield before completing his higher education at the University of Denver in Colorado. The Diary of Dolly Makepeace is his first novel. Mr.
